URBAN TALES XI: Creeps By Night follows four women on a country retreat to an isolated cabin. Each of them has made the trip for personal and sometimes mysterious reasons, and as the evening progresses they find themselves in danger from both within and outside the house. Little did they know that a relaxing getaway vacation would lead them to be fighting for their sanity and their very lives in the darkness…

Urban Tales has become a signature event for Northern Light Theatre, an annual project that has grown each successive year (most clearly evidenced by last year’s webcast- the first of its kind in Canada!).With the gracious support of EPCOR and their Road To Excellence campaign, we have been able to take the knowledge we have learned over the past eleven years to facilitate a mentorship program that allows us to continue involving new talents that are mentored by professionals through the creation and development of this brand new Canadian multi-media work.

GOAL: To present a brand-new Canadian work of suspense by Urban Tales favorite Michael Mitchell. To engage last year’s directing intern, Erin McDougall, to shepherd a new directing intern through the process. To engage yet another intern to learn the complicated technical processes implemented by our perennial videographer, Ian Jackson.
