How can I donate?
As a not-for-profit society, Northern Light Theatre relies on funding from the community. We are always grateful
for any size of donation. All donations are tax-deductible. You can make a donation to Northern Light Theatre
by mail, in person, or over the phone or fax (see contact information above).
How can I volunteer?
Northern Light Theatre relies on volunteers for the following positions:
- Bingo Fundraisers
- Casino Fundraisers
- Bartending
- Ushering
- Board Membership
Volunteer application forms are available here, or you can call us at 471-1586 to request
a form. Once the form has been filled out, you will be notified regarding upcoming volunteer opportunities.

We are also always interested in meeting potential board members. The Board of Directors meets monthly,
so give us a call if you are interested in attending our next scheduled Board Meeting and earning a place among
our ranks.
How can I audition?
All theatre artists (not just actors) are encouraged to send in headshots and resumes throughout the year,
as we keep updated information on many actors, playwrights, stage managers and directors throughout the city,
province and country.
We hold yearly auditions for actors in the spring (usually in May). Only artists that we have not yet met, or who
have had an extensive improvement in their training or capabilities since their last audition with us, are asked to
attend our annual auditions. Contact us, and we will add your contact information to our list of auditionees and
let you know when our next auditions are being held.

Northern Light Theatre is hosting general auditions
12 Noon - 5pm
Monday, May 5th 2008

Auditions will be scheduled in 15-minute intervals. Call Mark Stubbings at 471-1586 to book an appointment. Please come prepared with a recent headshot and resume and two contrasting contemporary monologues, each one no more than two minutes in length.
Artistic director Trevor Schmidt and Patron Relations Coordinator Mark Stubbings will be present for these auditions.
We are interested in seeing only those performers who we have not recently seen (the past 3 years), or whose work dramatically differs from what we have seen them do in the past. For those performers who have recently been seen by Trevor, in place of an audition, please simply send an updated headshot and resume to:
