To launch each new theatre season Northern Light Theatre hosts the Battle for the Limelight- a city-wide fundraiser in which arts groups collect pledges and compete in a scavenger hunt to win gold (and bragging rights for the rest of the year). By staging a battle, Northern Light Theatre hopes to win the war on arts fundraising by giving every theatre group the chance to raise pledges without having to mount their own campaign. No matter who walks away with the trophies- every theatre company wins.
The third annual Battle for the Limelight was held on Saturday, Sept 10, 2016.
